Our 4 part Vlog series about a recent photography trip to the Isle of Skye has been uploaded to our vimeo channel (Click Here) and to make it even easier for you to find if you haven’t seen it already, I’ve updated the last blog to have all 4 parts and a quick little time-lapse […]
Having a week off in Scotland is a dream. There’s so much to see in this beautiful country. So many places to go and never enough time to see them as they fully deserve to be seen. I got the rare and unique opportunity to go on a photography workshop a little over a week […]
Decided to a take a little time this week to venture into the city and walk streets I’ve never been down. I went up to Edinburgh Castle and walked along the Royal Mile… Went through some “closes” and cut through cemeteries and just had a really wonderful time seeing what’s in this beautiful city of […]
We’ve been in Scotland now for 7 months… Time is flying and yet there are still days where the comforts of home sound really appealing. :) Thankfully our parents made another trip our way for Thanksgiving and also to do some work while they were here.
Fall or “autumn,” as they say here in the U.K., has always been one of my favorite times of the year. The colors, the smells, the coolness in the air, and the reminder that summer is finished and winter is coming…

It’s a charming little spot that connects with another beautiful (and perhaps even my favorite) part of the city […]
The world renowned festival that is the “Fringe,” has officially come to an end. In celebration of a wonderful month of music, acting, and performances of all sorts, the city allowed for their noise ordinance laws to be violated for the “Virgin Money Fireworks Concert.” An orchestra plays in the middle of Princes St. Gardens […]
It’s very rare that you get to experience an event that just makes you feel like you are really witnessing a wonderful piece of history. Something that feels a bit fairytale-like and for lack of a better term, “magical.” Many people say that the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (www.edintattoo.co.uk) is on their “bucket list” and […]
