Edinburgh has an amazing little section of town called, “Dean Village.” The mills of the village were built sometime around 1145 and the area was known for it’s milling of grain for somewhere around 800 years. It’s a charming little spot that connects with another beautiful (and perhaps even my favorite) part of the city called, “Stockbridge.”
When you’re in Dean Village, you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. You imagine that there’s a blacksmith on the corner and a market along the side of the streets, etc. It’s just really really lovely.
A few weeks ago, I went with a buddy to film him for an update and decided that I needed to piece together a little bit of the footage as it’s just too beautiful. What a gem of a place and how beautifully it’s been preserved.
